Blogging in general

What the hell!?
I guess blogging is a full time job and you have to get paid advertisers just to drive local interest.
Intelligent discourse is not enough. True I get my own satisfaction by publicly posting my opinions, but no one else seems to care. Too much Facebook/Myspace/Twitter crap out there where people can mindlessly post meaningless crap without any effort or thought process.
I'm seriously leaning towards rejecting technology altogether.

I'm beginning to think that if I "don't get on the internet", lose the cell phone (My dumb tracphone), listen to cable news, read the 2 day old fluff in the Papers and generally ignore all billboards, I would lead a happier life. I wouldn't have to watch commercials or see ads telling me how fat I am, how bald I am, how sick I am, how old I am, how poor I am or how uninformed I am and how unhappy I should be because of all this.
I think it would be the secret to happiness.... IGNORANCE!
