It's official: An asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs

"A giant asteroid smashing into Earth is the only plausible explanation for the extinction of the dinosaurs, a global scientific team said on Thursday, hoping to settle a row that has divided experts for decades."

"Scientists working on the study analyzed the work of paleontologists, geochemists, climate modelers, geophysicists and sedimentologists who have been collecting evidence about the KT extinction over the last 20 years."

That statement alone will be enough for the Tea-baggers to debunk it. After all what do scientists know anyway. They're just a bunch of liberal elitists.
We all know that God smote the dinosaurs for having Gay Lizard sex.

Obama takes charge, demands vote on health care

"The end game at hand, President Barack Obama took command Wednesday of one final attempt by Democrats to enact bitterly contested health care legislation, calling for an "up or down vote" within weeks under rules denying Republicans the ability to kill the bill with mere talk."

I really like how the republicans muster behind the facade of fiscal responsibility when it comes to something that benefits the American people, but cast it aside when it comes to spending trillions throwing the most powerful and expensive military at what amounts to a mobile rag tag pack of religious zealots who were never a military threat to the mainland US.
Not to mention that a week in the hospital will cost more than what I make in a year, tell me how that make sense. All those greedy fools need to be reigned in. Please....

Bart Stupak author of the "Stupid Amendment"

CHECK OUT "Bart Stupak author of the "Stupak Amendment,The nine-term Democrat from Michigan is the author of the "Stupak Amendment," a rider attached to the House health care legislation that would effectively ban most government funding of abortion under the new health care system. Stupak also has been tied to the "The Family," an influential but reclusive group that includes several of Washington's biggest Christian power players.

Would that be the same "family" that, in Uganda, was behind the Anti-Homosexuality Bill 2009, heavily supported by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni? A bill that would impose the death penalty on HIV positive men who have committed what it calls "aggravated homosexuality."
So it's bad to fund abortion with a sweeping health care reform, but OK to whack a few sick queers behind the scenes.

That's just creepy....Just doctor the bill up for this creep so we can move on.
